David Stubenvoll

Chief Executive Officer and Cofounder

David Stubenvoll is a streaming-industry veteran, launching Wowza with Charlie Good to fill a stark void in the industry: the lack of flexible, robust media server software on which to build reliable streaming. Wowza is Dave’s fifth new business venture, having previously served as entrepreneur in residence at Adobe Systems and as CEO/cofounder of Freeworks. Dave has also held senior positions at Intuit and serves as president of GALT Technologies (an Intuit subsidiary).

Elliot Miller

Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Legal

Elliot Miller leads Wowza’s global people operations, legal affairs, compliance programs, and corporate development activities as senior vice president. With more than 15 years of experience providing in-house legal counsel to technology and services companies, Elliot works to attract and retain great colleagues by building a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture with compelling employee benefits. In Elliot’s legal and corporate development roles, he leads initiatives and processes to support Wowza’s rapid growth while managing the company’s risk.

Erin Sawyer

Chief Financial Officer

Erin comes to Wowza with 20 years of finance, accounting, and operational experience as well as 10 years in the software industry. She is passionate about leading great teams, partnering throughout the organization to drive growth and operational excellence. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family creating new memories.

Michael Phillippi

Chief Technical Officer

Michael Phillippi is an experienced leader of SaaS engineering organizations. He’s managed engineering teams utilizing a range of technologies such as machine vision, IoT, hardware engineering, web applications, APIs, data streaming, and analytics. Michael’s experience includes scaling several companies to accelerate innovation and enterprise-level reliability, including Canto, Lytx, Enlyte, The Sabre Group, and HP Global Systems.

Mark Lockwood

Chief Revenue Officer

Mark comes to Wowza with over 15 years of experience driving significant revenue growth and company value across both PE and VC-backed companies. Over the course of his career, he has held leadership positions in sales, marketing, and management consulting and is passionate about working collaboratively to scale GTM functions to support growth. Outside of work you can find him spending time chasing around his two young kids, Jack and Lizzy, and attempting to relive his soccer glory days in pickup games around the neighborhood.

Jon Duncan

Vice President of Product

Jon Duncan is an accomplished product leader with a passion for building world-class products and teams. He comes to Wowza with more than 15 years of experience developing solutions that drive meaningful value to customers across multiple industries. Jon’s focus is on enabling his customers’ success through technology. Outside of Wowza, Jon can be found snowboarding, hiking, and camping in the mountains with his family.
